When you first started SEO optimization the questions that arose in the dimensions of your mind were; How long will the SEO results look? And that continues to play all your time.
I understand, if you expect one second after the site starts online, it is already visible in search engines. And maybe that’s everyone’s dream. Including me hohoho.
In fact, for the keyword “how long is the indexed website google” shows pretty fantastic results. There are about 71,300 search results for keywords: “how long has the indexed website been google”
The above description shows an interest in hoping to get ranked. Especially for SEOs whose objectives are indexed and then ranked. Perched on page 1 of Google. Enjoy…
As one of the providers of SEO services and serving clients for the optimization of their website, the question of how long SEO progress is starting to be seen is common.
And it is natural for business owners to question how long it takes to become # 1 when target keywords start to be optimized.
Unfortunately, there is no magic SEO technique to do. And there are also no pills that can be consumed to instantly get a top-ranking position on Google. It takes effort to get a coveted place for millions of sites that compete globally on the internet.
And for more competitive search phrases, more work and time is needed.
So to answer the question related to how long SEO results begin to appear, you should look at some technical things related to the process that must be done itself. This article is divided into several subtitles. Namely as follows;

How Long Will The SEO Results Look?
In a competitive market, I understand, everyone wants to know a strict timeline. So, it can make a budget plan, allocation of resources, and everything. Is not everything must be planned.
Unfortunately, this is the secret of the people behind the search engine algorithm. And they never leaked it to the public.
But through this paper, some things might be a guarantee for you, if you make a deliberate effort to improve search rankings, through good SEO techniques.
“Maybe just a day or it takes 6-12 months or maybe even more.”
It really depends on hundreds of variables, which unfortunately are largely out of your control.
Up to this point, all SEO techniques and strategies can be said to be assumptions to satisfy variables considered as ranking factors. Remember … Assumptions!
Because no one outside the Google search team knows about how the search results are determined.
It may even be that Google’s own team members don’t all know the factors used and how they are used.
As an SEO service provider in Bloggerconcept, I personally do not know exactly what competitors are doing to improve their clients’ sites. Then how the SEO work mechanism is carried out, this is more focused on experience and case studies that have happened before.
Gaining experience and case study data requires time and hard work. This is also probably the reason most business people do not try to improve their sites.
So when you apply SEO strategies that you think are good. You have to spend more time on more productive things.
The Main Focus Of SEO
Effective SEO is more than just increasing the ranking of certain keywords, it is about increasing the total organic traffic to the website, which will give more potential customers a visit.
3 main things that need to be focused:
- Identify the Core Keyword Clusters that Customers Use to Find Your Products and Services
- Producing High-Quality Content
- Ensure technical work related to proven SEO strategies. And develop it.
On this occasion, I would like to invite you to think that; asking how long SEO takes to show results in the ranking is the wrong question.
Because you will not get a definite answer, other than assumptions.
So I will share how experience is ranked in the form of strategies that make it possible to succeed. Through the 3 main things above.
Keyword Group Identification
Modern SEO is an organic SEO technique. It’s about optimization methods that are driven by natural language search.
This means consumers are looking to use more keywords. Instead of asking questions through two or three-word phrases. Long tile keywords!
Now the main tool is the cellphone. The majority of online search activities come from mobile devices, not desktops. Keep in mind this fact.
Mobile phones have developed into the most dominant interface. And voice recognition technology devices are also increasing.
Now more and more searches are done by talking to the phone and using services like Cortana, Google Assistant, and Siri.
This has forced Google and Bing to be better at interpreting users’ natural language questions. Where matches result with user intent.
This is also the reason why Google created RankBrain, or an artificial intelligence engine to become a major part of their current algorithm.
Traditional SEO in ancient times could identify only a few key keywords, usually 2-4 words. Then focus your SEO optimization efforts on these types of keywords. Maybe add a few variations.
But the old-fashioned way, it has begun to not have a significant effect.
Google Understands The Meaning
My personal experience sees better when producing content. In the past people wrote articles to appeal to search engine software rather than visitors for SEO optimization.
Now, writing ‘normal’ or naturally is better. Do as if you are talking to a human. Don’t be rigid, let alone bombard keywords for robots to get ranked.
Google can now understand the content better. Already better know the meaning of topics and search phrase clusters when classifying a web page.
I like to call this the term keyword cluster or search phrase. Because the main focus of the content is on the broad spectrum of the potential search phase.
Keep in mind digital marketing experts agree, Google searches 20-25% of the 3.5 billion searches that occur every day are new. This means that the majority of searches are classified as ‘long tail’ or long tile keywords.
So in many articles, I often mention the Yoast SEO plugin. Because this SEO tool can support this new SEO technique. Even for the free version.
Long-tailed phrases are terms used 1 even up to 500 times a month. This means the site pages will not only rank for 3 or 4 main keywords (Keyphrase Focus) if you create content well that means it will rank for thousands of searches.
This is an example of a popular article that I wrote. About free backlink sources. There are currently quite several domains linking to this article. And for this article, I got rankings for a lot of keywords. The word 40000 free backlink is not in the article, but Google still gives me a ranking on the top 1 page.
It’s a fact that Google’s algorithm considers my content one that can provide answers to the question of 40000 free backlinks.
Broad keyword coverage like this contributes to many visits from organic search!
The sad fact is that most websites, and I mean almost 95%, have to be content enough to get 180 page views a month. One reason is that not many know how to create content to reach a long tail.
Long Tile Keyword Strategy
The process is done is to identify a set of core keywords with high search volume.
Use research tools to identify at least a dozen secondary terms, questions people ask online, then outline articles from those terms. Throughout the article season the natural phrases to help the article reach a broader set of terms.
I do not know exactly there are hundreds of phrases that might rank for this article to be found. I don’t even have time to see what the ranking phrase is.
I have learned to trust the process! You do this by creating better quality content and letting Google do its work. About matching articles with phrases. Hohoho …
And the good news, maybe you can get a ranking for low competition, long-tail keywords overnight!
This is important because Google uses the data it collects on long-tail keywords to determine whether your page should go up in rank for higher volume phrases.
For difficult keywords, the thing that can be done is to increase domain authority.
Here are some criteria that you also need to optimize:
- Bounce Rate
- Time on Page
- Search Click Through Rate
These are all key search performance indicators that Google uses to determine who ranks higher on certain keywords. Do well with long-tail phrases and follow high volume phrases.
The secret of long tile keywords has actually been widely discussed. But apparently, not many think this is really important. Though a gold mine.
Because it’s easier to rank for this term, it’s easier to get visibility. The answers given by your page can be focused on long-tail keywords, which means you get extra trust points from visitors.
Experience also shows the longer the search phrases used by consumers, the closer they are to making purchasing decisions.
This is good news for you. If you give the best answer to what they need.
Potency
This is why at the beginning, I mentioned a bit that SEO efforts are not merely a matter of optimizing target keywords. The key metric that must be had in an SEO strategy is conversion, not keyword ranking.
In Website Creation services we build sites that support conversion focus. And in SEO services we often even redesign the site to meet the following elements;
I can drive thousands of visitors to any website, but without a call to action and several ways to make money from traffic, it’s just ‘arrogance training’.
If you have already carried out a marketing strategy through advertising and not produced results, this might also be the reason.
What we’re talking about now, maybe great online resources, but there must be an end in mind.
For that, be sure to convert organic visitors into customers. This is the next phase of the SEO plan.
Instead of asking how long SEO results are seen or surfing in search of how to quickly index Google, better ask:
“How long does it take SEO optimization to start generating leads and sales?”
Now, we enter into further discussion. About how to get ratings, generate traffic, and create new customers. And how to do it faster.
Technical SEO
This Technical SEO is under your complete control. And this is the foundation for all other SEO techniques.
Improving site quality doesn’t just talk about improving search positions. But it also increases natural engagement with visitors and customers.
In my opinion, Google’s search quality guidelines are a set of rules that must be followed for quality sites.
And the main thing mentioned in Google’s webmaster guidelines for SEO is user experience. That is, sites that get a better ranking are sites that can provide a quality experience to their users.
Google is like a judge, checking and marking site pages. Record all errors to improve product quality.
Stick to these guidelines and you will get higher rankings, get more traffic, and convert more visitors.
The results don’t have to be in that order. Quality content that engages more visitors will lead to more organic traffic, etc.
Because of this, SEO calmly talks about some technical improvements that can bring quite quick results.
Maybe you already have an established web presence and want to improve the technical side. Or maybe you want to fix an error when exposed to the latest Google algorithm update.

Search Engine Ranking Is A Process
Previously I have reviewed that SEO is not magic spelling. Which can be accelerated overnight. Read: What is SEO?
SEO is a process. To succeed online you must go through a process. To get new organic search results, this is a multi-month effort. And it does not stop there, you need to keep the process running and continue to improve it from time to time.
Based on experience, it takes at least three months, even more. Can reach six months if technically SEO has been done without errors.
Personally, six months is the ideal time to build the focus of the complete search process for any site.
This does not mean it takes 6 months to rank. So you can sit back and do nothing for 6 months.
This means it takes about 6 months to complete the core tasks when you start a process. And of course, continue to be balanced by creating content that your potential candidates need.
After the timeline is set, it will be easier to continue to get new traffic and expand market share.
This is almost the same as a program to lose weight and shape the body. Where it takes at least 108 days to lose BB. If you don’t believe ask the expert Gym & Fitness Expert. Hohoho …
6-Month SEO Strategy Plan
Month 1 – Setting Benchmarks
Before making any changes, you need to know how the site will be in SEO optimization. Next, analyze the competitor’s site. There are many factors involved in this process.
When starting SEO, we do an in-depth analysis to learn what needs to be done. It consists of the following fields and maybe more:
- Existing Content and Conditions
- Technical Health Site
- Site structure in converting traffic
- Where the site ranks now, what is wrong and what must be corrected
- What keyword groups need to be optimized
The point above you must really understand. Including the condition of competitor sites. If you don’t know what you’re up against, it makes you not know how much you need to do.
Remember to talk about SEO, it is about competition. On the first page of Google search, there are only 10 site slots. So to get in there you have to shift one of them.
SEO to win the competition. And if other people have all the traffic so far, then you have to do better than them.
Month 2 – Establish An Editorial Schedule
If you have fixed technical issues and identified areas for creating content, it is time to start creating high-quality content.
So where do you start?
This is where the editorial schedule helps. Not only will this keep you focused on creating specific content targeting keywords, but it also helps you to see exactly what you need to create.
Part of the first month’s effort is to identify the target keyword clusters to target. This cluster must be used to plan your schedule.
I like early wins, so I am looking for high volume and low competition keyword clusters. Then target this first to provide a faster feedback cycle in making adjustments for future content.
Everyone’s schedule will be different, so I won’t share it here. But maybe focus on keyword clusters every week.
This includes publishing targeted articles, making videos (optional), infographics, and other media. It also means having a process to promote new content, such as social media signals and publishing content on various web 2.0 or PDF share properties such as SlideShare.
That could mean publishing new articles every week, or maybe twice a day. It all depends on your niche and capacity to create new content.
Month 3 – Implement Editorial Schedules
So we know that there is a schedule for the content creation process, it’s time to start building links to the content. This involves outreach and manual efforts.
This should not be a one-time process, but a continuing effort for all content on your site.
Curating potential link sources is time-consuming and sometimes doesn’t work.
But that does not mean you regret the fate and hope for a miracle. All must continue.
If there is something that doesn’t work or doesn’t work. This might be analyzed using tools like Google Console. And you still have to do it again. No dispensation for this.
Real links or backlinks are very meaningful in the ranking. Both in quantity and quality.
This strategy is referred to as Off-Page SEO
Actually, in this initial 3-month process. If possible everything runs in parallel. To speed up the process. That way you can start seeing results. But I don’t want to make sweet promises at this stage.
Months 4-6 – Scale And Process Improvement
Now the process is done. This does not mean it is finished. It takes time to polish and maintain a good organic search process to work efficiently.
At this point, some of the work should be seen.
Because the core process is proven, now is the time to improve everything. Maybe you add new articles and update one article a week. Or make improvements and improvements to existing content.
In this case, you can try to duplicate the effort and continue to experiment to see what changed it to the best.
At the end of 6 months, you should have a well-oiled machine. To manage the results achieved consistently and reliably.
Don’t stop here, continue. Remember, almost all niches develop over time. This means there is always something new to be made.
Create more content … Content is king. Keep holding it.
This means almost always need to update the existing content. I update at least weekly for this site.
What was achieved was only the initial profit. This means that there is much more to be had. If consistent!
You will find many potential benefits from time to time. What finally began to happen was brand loyalty.
This means you are more often present in search results, which means more consumer confidence. A consumer who trusts your brand is more likely to buy from you than a new visitor.
You need to be in the top 10 of every search result in your business niche. This tells consumers that you are the market leader. And therefore it will be easier to trust and buy your product/service.

Conclusion
If you want to feel a direct impact in the world of marketing, SEO is not the right way, or at least not yet.
If anyone tries to tell you (or persuade you about it) it should let us know.
That is, if you are new, and want to enjoy the results immediately, then you do the promotion strategy another way. Maybe with paid advertising.
But if you know about the vision of the building. SEO is the answer. Over time SEO can pay big dividends that you didn’t even think of before.
When done effectively, SEO will drive organic traffic to the website and increase ROI on an ongoing basis.
